This new half day AvMA seminar on the afternoon of 22 September will provide practical guidance on dealing with FOI and Data Protection compliance issues and the practicalities surrounding disclosure, including pre-action disclosure and recoverability of costs.
The event will be chaired by Maurice Frankel, Director of the Campaign for Freedom of Information, who will also speak on the FOI and Data Protection Act to obtain patient and other information. Understanding new medical records and evidential issues will also be discussed and a ‘case-study approach' group working session will ensure you are equipped with the latest FOI and disclosure information that you will be able to apply to your cases.
