Current Consultations

AvMA aims to make influential responses to official consultation exercises on subjects relevant to our mission of improving patient safety and justice for people affected by medical accidents. (See past examples under 'Publications'). To ensure our responses are well informed by the experience and priorities of patients and members of the public we try to use a range of methods. We would particularly like to hear views about current consultations which are taking place.

Ministry of Justice Consultation on The Draft Charter for the Coroners Service - deadline 5th September

Ministry of Justice Consultation:  Public Bodies Bill - reforming the public bodies of the Ministry of Justice (includes proposal to drop the post of Chief Coroner) - deadline 11th October
