James Badenoch QC has made a very special contribution as a barrister, stretching over 20 years. He is well known for his considerable success and expertise in clinical negligence and medical law. However what marks James Badenoch out as extra special is his humanity and empathy with those affected, and his willingness to engage in wider activity in order to ensure lessons are learnt and improvements made to systems. This is exemplified by the considerable free time he devotes to lecturing on behalf of groups such as AvMA and professional medical and legal bodies, and his work as chairman of the Expert Witness Institute.
