Patients for Patient Safety Champions

The project has a current capacity for 22 volunteer Patients for Patient Safety Champions. Below are those specifically recruited as part of the NPSA/AvMA Patients for Patient Safety Project. Patients For Patient Safety is one of the programme areas of the World Health Organization's World Alliance For Patient Safety.

Amanda Pearce has joined the project as an Associate Patient Safety Champion until such time that an appropriate Induction Programme with the World Alliance For Patient Safety is available.

There are currently three other patient safety champions in the UK: AvMA's Chief Executive, Peter Walsh; Ian Hayes; and Josephine Ocloo.
