Roger Clements

A consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, Roger Clements is one of the best known medical experts in the country, with over 1,400 expert reports and over 60 appearances in court, for both claimants and defendants. Roger is known for having helped change the attitude of doctors who in the old days would refuse to provide evidence for a claimant. He has contributed to the wider patient safety and reform agenda through his active participation in the Clinical Disputes Forum and has also been editor of the journal Clinical Risk. Roger also promotes good practice in the provision of medical expert evidence/reports through the Expert Witness Institute.
