Lot 3:PABLO PICASSO “Studio Ic”

This is a beautiful colour lithograph from 1955.The subject of the studio was the centre of Picasso’s creative activity as during these years spent in Cannes. The number of rooms, their height, the large French windows, the panelled walls  and the stucco all gave Picasso a feeling of comfort and space such as he had not yet enjoyed. His concentration on the interior landscape during the mid-fifties will always be associated with the name “ La Californie”.

Lot 4: HENRI MATISSE “King’s Sadness”

and surrounded  by the pleasures that have enriched his life: the yellow petals that fly all over the background represent the gaiety of musical notes, the odalisque in green symbolizes the
East, while the dancer on the right  represents a tribute to his previous drawings of the female body.

Estimate: £2,500-£3500                       Minimum bid: £1750

Lot 5: SALVADOR DALI: “Museum of genius and Whim”

This piece is a very rare Hand-signed, hand-watercoloured etching from 1974,from an edition of 195. It is from the series, “After 50 Years of Surrealism”, which served to document important people and moments in the artist’s life.  In the very place where at fifteen he had exhibited his first paintings, the Figueras theatre, Dali inaugurated his own museum on August 11th, 1973. “Nothing,” he says, “could better suit me than a theatre wherein to fit all the facts of my fancy.”

Dimensions 80cm x 65cm

Retail Value :£5500-£8500                   Minimum Bid:£3250

Lot 5:

Lot 6: PABLO PICASSO “Picador and Dancing Women VII”

This is a stunning rare original Black and White lithograph from 1960, numbered from an edition of 500.  Perhaps the most renowned artist of all time, the name Picasso is synonymous with artistic genius. His representations of the bullfight are filled with his own memories and are mostly dedicated to the Picador, the fighter in the arena.

Dimensions 54cm x 66cm

Estimate: £2,500-£3500.                   Minimum Bid: £1950

Lot 7: MARC CHAGALL “Opera”
This is a wonderful Original Colour Lithograph from 1954.
This piece is at the same time an homage to Paris and an affirmation of Chagall's style and love of colours. On the lower
part, there is one of the most iconic parisian monument: The Opera Garnier whose ceiling he was commissioned to paint in 1963 by France’s Minister of culture Andre’ Malraux.

Dimensions 46cm x 53cm

Estimate: £3750-6000                   Minimum bid: £2950

Lot 8: JOAN MIRO “Composition Summer”

This is an original colour lithograph from 1938. Miro’s work is
distinguished by the use of brilliant pure color and playful juxtaposition of delicate lines with abstract, often amoebic shapes. This is a rare and beautiful piece, one of Miro’s most highly sought after early prints.

Dimensions 50cm x 58cm

Estimate: £2200- 3000               Minimum bid: £1,500

Lot 9: MARC CHAGALL “Accordionist”

This is an original colour lithograph from 1957.Music has a special place in Chagall's art. From his early paintings to his last lithographs, again and again Chagall comes back to the subject both to celebrate and to marvel at its transcendental ability to
free people from the constraints of time, of place, and even of gravity. Musicians float over cities, lifted up by love and their high-flying spirits.

Dimensions 50cm x 64cm

Estimate: £2200- 3000              Minimum Bid:  £1500
