Ann Alexander
Ann Alexander was one of the first solicitors to specialise in clinical negligence and has acted in many important and high profile cases for claimants which have not only made headlines but have also contributed towards improvements in patient safety. Lecturing extensively to medical and legal audiences throughout the UK, Ann also regularly featured in the newspapers and on television, appearing in hundreds of news programmes throughout her career. Since merging her national law firm Alexander Harris with Irwin Mitchell in 2006, Ann consults on business development across a broad range of businesses and runs a media and communications training consultancy. Ann has also become a successful broadcast journalist and has researched and presented a number of current affairs documentaries on BBC Radio 4 principally on subjects related to health and the law.
