Hello. I’m Nicky, AvMA’s Finance Manager, and I’m jumping out of a plane to raise money for AvMA, the charity for patient safety and justice.
Are you brave enough to join me?
My Dad Keith died five years ago as a result of a hospital acquired infection. We didn’t know which way to turn and felt completely helpless and alone. Had we known about AvMA it would have made all the difference – to have people who understood the horror, agony and grief we were going through, to listen, advise and support us.
Dad meant the world to me. He was bright, funny, loving and kind, and I wanted to be just like him. He loved aeroplanes so I’m honouring his memory with a tandem skydive.
I believe passionately in AvMA’s work and that’s why I’m so keen to raise funds and awareness – so we can continue to reach out and support families that so desperately need it, and to continue the fantastic policy and campaigning work to prevent this happening to others in the future.
Please come and join me in the jump!
