AvMA Supports sepsis awareness day

AvMA is proud to be supporting World Sepsis day and on-going work to promote better awareness, diagnosis and treating sepsis (blood poisoning). Sepsis is thought to be one of the biggest avoidable killers in healthcare today. AvMA has been involved in a number of cases involving late diagnosis / treatment of sepsis. Most recently, AvMA supported the family at the inquest into the death of Emma Stones, which was due to sepsis. More information about Sepsis.
