Mid staffs inquiry: will mr hunt put patient safety before politics?

The report from the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry is due to be published on 6th February.  AvMA has written to the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, to ask him to put patient safety before politics and implement recommendations in full – even where they are contrary to existing policy.  AvMA has become increasingly concerned at signs that some expected recommendations will be side-stepped or ignored.
