‘Obstetric Emergencies During Pregnancy’, covering the following:-
• PE’s and cardiac problems
• Pre-eclampsia
Professor Nelson-Piercy trained as a physician, specialising in obstetric medicine. She specialises in the care of women with medical problems in pregnancy. She offers pre-pregnancy counselling for women with pre-existing medical problems and those with problems in previous pregnancies. Catherine runs special joint clinics for women with renal disease, cardiac and rheumatic disorders, hypertension and epilepsy in pregnancy.
