As part of a wider review of its user-facing services, Avma — the UK’s patient safety charity — is exploring how technology could help it make the best use of its staff and volunteer capacity, support more people, improve access, and maintain or enhance service quality.
Through this request for information (RFI), we are seeking an up-to-date view of relevant technology solutions and delivery models. We also wish to understand indicative costs, implementation requirements, potential benefits and risks, and suppliers’ experience of delivering comparable solutions.

Suppliers wishing to respond should complete the Word response template, following the instructions and stated word limits. Completed responses must be emailed to avma@whitetailconsulting.co.uk by 2nd October 2026.
Avma is being supported by White Tail Consulting throughout this process. Clarification questions should be sent to the same email address by 25th September 2026 at 5:00pm. Any clarification information that materially affects the RFI will be shared consistently with all potential suppliers. Suppliers should not assume that the submission deadline will be extended.
This RFI is an exploratory and non-binding market-engagement exercise. It is not an invitation to tender or an offer to enter into a contract, and Avma is not committed to undertaking a subsequent procurement. Suppliers will be responsible for their own costs in preparing a response, and participation will not confer any advantage in a future procurement process.
