Listing on the Find a Solicitor database is managed on an annual basis, with a listing fee payable for each year from 1 October – 30 September. New firms can join at any time, with rates applied pro rata.

Fees are calculated according to the number of listings required by each firm. One ‘listing’ constitutes the inclusion of a firm’s office in a specific region, e.g. a Manchester office in the North West England region. If a firm wants a particular office to be listed in multiple regions, it will need to pay for multiple listings to cover each of them.

Firms can also apply for a “national coverage” listing to cover England and Wales. This is only available to firms with a Panel-accredited solicitor who is able to oversee cases from any part of both countries and is prepared to travel to meet with clients if necessary.
