On Thursday 22 June we will offer the delights of the AvMA Curry School at Hansa’s Restaurant’s own kitchen in Leeds.

Experience three hours’ expert training from Hansa’s renowned staff followed by a delicious meal you prepare yourself.

Chef Hansa Dabhi was at the forefront of introducing Indian vegetarian cuisine to the mainstream restaurant scene in Leeds and Yorkshire in 1986. Her all women kitchen team serve her blend of Gujarati vegetarian home-cooking with touches of her East African upbringing.

Highly acclaimed she has won many awards including ‘Curry Chef of the Year’ three years running as voted by the Leeds Guide; ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Restaurant Industry’ by the Leeds Restaurant Association in 2008; and ‘The Best Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in the UK’ 2013/14 by the Cobra Good Curry Restaurant Guide.

This is an alternative event to the annual golf day traditionally held on the Thursday of the annual conference.

You will be collected by Taxi in central Leeds and taken to Hansa’s own kitchen. Three hours of top culinary tuition. Taxi back to central Leeds.

Pick up 1.00pm prompt on the day arrive back before 5.00pm
