Paramedics treating a civilian at the roadside

5 February 2020, Slater & Gordon Lawyers, Manchester

Emergency Care Services are facing intense pressures to sustain its urgent and emergency care system. CQC ‘s annual state of care report found that in 2018/19 some 44 per cent of urgent and emergency services were ranked as “requires improvement” while a further 8 per cent were “inadequate”.

With the changing NHS climate there is a vital need to continually monitor these services and ensure high quality care remains consistent throughout the NHS.

AvMA’s conference on ‘Medico-Legal Issues in Accident and Emergency Care’ will examine the current standards, issues, roles and responsibilities, investigations and management of key areas in accident and emergency care.

Who Should Attend? Claimant clinical negligence solicitors and barristers and healthcare professionals involved in clinical governance.
