Ed Maycock

Head of Events
Ed leads Avma’s Events team and is instrumental in delivering Avma’s programme of conferences and events for legal and medical professionals, including the flagship Annual Clinical Negligence Conference, which attracts around 500 delegates and over 50 sponsors and exhibitors every year.

About Ed

Ed joined Avma as Conference Manager in May 2006, after several years of organising and running successful events in the engineering sector. Avma’s focus on supporting people who have experienced harm was a key factor in his decision to join the organisation.

Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching live music, running along the Sussex coast and the South Downs, and following Derby County FC and Sussex County Cricket Club.
