Carol Parsons

Trustee
Carol is a former solicitor with over 20 years of experience across the legal and financial sectors. She brings extensive operational management skills to her role as trustee, alongside a deep professional and personal commitment to supporting access to justice for people affected by medical harm.

About Carol

Carol has been a supporter of Avma for many years. When driven by a social conscience and a desire to give something back, she decided to look for a charity trustee role, with Avma the natural choice.

With a strong personal interest in ensuring justice for people who have suffered avoidable harm in healthcare, Carol has been a solicitor for over 20 years and is currently serving as Head of Strategic Partnerships at the MD Group.

As a qualified (now non-practising) solicitor, Carol’s career has spanned both the legal and financial services sectors, and in recent roles she has led teams of people dedicated to supporting access to justice. With experience of managing large operations, she brings a range of operational management skills to Avma’s board.

Carol is delighted to join Avma and is looking forward to contributing to improving outcomes for those who have suffered medical harm.
