Caroline is an experienced public sector leader and independent consultant specialising in healthcare regulation, quality, and statutory investigations. She brings expertise in corporate governance, standards-based accreditation, and strategic leadership to our board.

About Caroline

Caroline is a public sector professional and charity trustee with extensive experience in strategic and operational leadership, including work on complex issues that attract public scrutiny with an ethical dimension.

An experienced senior manager in statutory regulation and standards-based accreditation, she is committed to improving people’s experience of healthcare and believes strongly in the benefits of effective regulation in driving quality, safety, and public confidence.

Through her professional and lay roles, Caroline has been able to work with healthcare providers, their stakeholders and regulators, supporting their efforts to improve services, meet national standards, and ensure positive patient outcomes.

Since completing a master’s degree in Corporate Governance and International Business Ethics in 2020, she has worked as an independent consultant, predominantly on national statutory investigations into healthcare failings.
