Baroness Masham of Ilton
Baroness Masham of Ilton is a cross bench member of the House of Lords. She is the senior female life peer and has a particular concern in issues related to health, patient safety and disability.
She is a very active member of the House of Lords, and a member of numerous all party parliamentary groups.
Baroness Masham is a fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Chair of the Cross Party Health Group and Patient and Public Involvement in Health Group, and Vice-Chair of the Obesity Group and Men’s Health Group. In 2011 she was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal College of Nursing.
The Baroness is also closely associated with a wide range of other charities, many in the health or disability field.
