Amrat Khorana

Amrat is a digital education professional currently working at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, supporting digital transformation of their education provision for clinicians. As part of the GOSH Learning Academy, he is responsible for the development, planning and provision of digital services across a variety of channels.

Throughout his professional career, patient safety has always been a constant. Amrat has worked as a Biomedical Scientist for over 7 years. Now, he helps hospital staff to continually improve their skills and knowledge in clinical practice, so they can deliver exceptional patient care.

He is also a lay examiner for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, focussing on patient safety and communication.

Amrat has always been passionate about patient safety and hopes to provide a unique perspective to the board of trustees, shaped by personal experience of avoidable harm and his diverse professional experience.
