Nigel Holland, Treasurer

Nigel has enjoyed a 35 year career in investment management, specialising in US and international equities.

After qualifying with a Dorset firm of chartered accountants in 1980, he went on to train as an investment analyst at Barclays. His 17 years in the Barclays group included four years living in North America from 1993 to 1997, where he became director of US investments for Barclays de Zoete Wedd Investment Management.

In 1997 he joined Legal and General Investment Management as head of North American equities, a post he held until July 2014.

In addition to his responsibilities for stock selection across a wide range of client portfolios, he has contributed to the asset allocation process for the investment organisations he has worked for.

He is married with two children and enjoys sailing and squash.
